Shopify Expert in Rome: e-commerce development for SMEs and start-ups

If you are looking for a Shopify expert in Rome, you work directly with me: I am Francesco Guiducci, a freelance Shopify developer and consultant, and I personally handle the creation, maintenance and optimisation of Shopify e-commerce stores for businesses in Rome and Lazio as well as clients who work with me remotely. I am not an agency and I do not have a team to hand work off to: the person who analyses your store is the same person who works on the project.

On a Shopify store I start with verifiable issues: theme structure, Liquid code, responsive behaviour, installed apps, performance, navigation, catalogue and the buying journey. Before recommending a redesign or an invasive intervention, I identify the cause of the problem and assess what can be corrected without unnecessarily rebuilding what already works.

I am Francesco Guiducci, a mechanical engineer and founder of IFG eCommerce. I work on Shopify projects of different sizes and levels of complexity on the Basic, Grow and Advanced plans. With my GEO Protocol (Generative Engine Optimization), I also verify that content, entities, structured data and catalogue information are consistent and technically accessible to search systems and AI-based assistants, without promising automatic citations or recommendations.

You can verify my profile and reviews in the official Shopify Partner Directory. I also handle migrations to Shopify from platforms such as PrestaShop, Magento and WooCommerce, starting from the existing catalogue, content, URLs and redirects so we can determine in advance what needs to be preserved and what must be rebuilt.

For a custom solution, I always start with my Audit. I first analyse the state of the website or the requirements of the new project; only afterwards do I define the tailored work and its quote.
