Merchant experience, an engineering approach and technical development applied to Shopify.
I’m Francesco Guiducci, founder of IFG eCommerce. Shopify and eCommerce are my main specialisation. I also develop proprietary software and build informational websites.
Consulting, audits, Shopify web design, technical development, GEO and automation. Proprietary apps and themes in the IFG Development hub.
IFG Software is the proprietary software and consumer app line of IFG eCommerce. Its first product is Scontrik for iPhone: the current focus is Apple, while the line remains open to other platforms.
Informational websites to present businesses, services and projects. I currently build them with Wix, with a structure that explains what you do and makes it easy to get in touch.
I design, develop and optimise Shopify stores and apps. IFG eCommerce is my freelance business: I personally handle analysis, advice, design and implementation.
I also continue to work as an industrial engineer in an international multinational environment. I work in English every day and bring that experience to Italian and international Shopify projects.
I work from Rome with Italian and international clients. The Shopify expert in Rome page explains the local context and how we can work together.
I started by building and managing my own stores.
I understand problems and decisions from the seller’s side too.
I examine causes, constraints and verification steps before making changes.
I work in English every day, with people in different contexts.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, specialising in Energy.
Italian State Examination and professional qualification as an engineer.
I start exploring eCommerce, study dropshipping and build my first Shopify stores.
I manage several stores myself, learning from results, mistakes and real problems.
I put this experience to work for merchants, professionals and SMEs as a freelance Shopify specialist.
My first real freelance project came through Fiverr, from a gig I had published almost for fun. I built practically an entire store for an Italian client for a very low fee.
When I delivered it, she told me that my speed, expertise and reliability were worth more than I had charged. That feedback helped me realise how satisfying it was to solve a concrete problem well for someone. It remains one of the reasons I work directly with clients today.
Goals, data, constraints and the store’s actual condition.
I distinguish symptoms, dependencies and priorities.
I choose native configuration, theme development, an app or an integration.
I check the outcome on the store and relevant regressions.
I can take a project from the initial idea to launch, or work on an existing store. I work with the Basic, Grow and Advanced plans.
Analysis → advice → solution → implementation → verification. The same person handles every step: Francesco.
There are no account managers, departments or handovers. I aim to give advice that is useful for the client. If an intervention is unnecessary, I say so, even when that means advising against one of my own services.
I do not simply build websites “with AI”. I use AI tools and agents to support analysis, development, verification and organisation.
Decisions, technical responsibility, checks and the outcome remain mine. I want to improve quality and operational capacity while keeping a personal relationship with every client, without building an agency.
I do not manage Google Ads or Meta Ads campaigns. I can handle the related technical work: sales channels, technical social setup, pixels, tags, Google Analytics, tracking and integrations.
I do not provide customer service on behalf of merchants or manage chats and support for their stores’ end customers.
Tell me about your situation and the outcome you want. I will reply personally.
