UX and CRO consulting for Shopify stores

I analyse the real purchase journey to identify friction, missing information and priorities. CRO is not a collection of tricks: it starts with navigation, products, cart, devices and the available data.

I define and implement verifiable improvements without promising conversion increases before they have been measured. You work directly with me, Francesco Guiducci.

For a custom solution, I always start with my Audit. I first analyse the current site or the requirements of the new project; only then do I define the tailored work and its quotation.

From friction to a verifiable improvement

01. Objective and context

I clarify the product, audience, traffic and constraints before applying generic best practices.

02. Navigation and search

I assess menus, collections, filters and internal search to understand how easily visitors can find what they need.

03. Product page

I review hierarchy, media, variants, information, reassurance and calls to action across the actual catalogue.

04. Cart and purchase journey

I analyse steps, messages and friction through to checkout, within the limits of the Shopify plan.

05. Mobile priorities

I check content order, readability, tap targets and perceived speed on small screens.

06. CRO hypotheses

I rank hypotheses by impact, evidence, cost and regression risk.

07. Implementation

I use native settings, sections or targeted development depending on which solution is easiest to maintain.

08. Verification

I compare behaviour and available metrics, distinguishing technical improvement from commercial results.

When UX and CRO consulting is useful

It is suitable when the store receives traffic but the journey is unclear, when mobile and desktop behave differently, or when pages have grown without a clear hierarchy.

You can start with a Shopify Audit; for extensive work, see Shopify redesign. I do not manage Google Ads or Meta Ads campaigns.

Priorities, not random changes

I gather evidence, separate critical issues from aesthetic preferences and create a sequence of improvements with verification criteria.

Where needed, I connect UX, content and technical SEO and performance without confusing their objectives.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between UX and CRO?

UX concerns clarity and ease of use; CRO uses analysis and testing to reduce friction against a measurable goal.

Do you guarantee an increase in conversion rate?

No. I can correct problems and formulate hypotheses, but traffic, the offer, price and market influence the outcome.

Do I need existing analytics data?

They are useful, but I can also start from technical and usability problems, clearly stating the available level of evidence.

Can you implement the changes after the analysis?

Yes, if implementation is included in the scope. I distinguish between editor settings, code, apps and platform limitations.

Do you also manage advertising campaigns?

No. I can technically configure channels, pixels, tags, analytics and tracking, but I do not manage campaigns.
