Designing or redesigning a Shopify store means working together on structure, theme, navigation, data and the buying journey. I start from the business model and the real store to understand which native features to use, which apps to keep and where theme development is more appropriate.
I work directly with Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript when needed, keeping the project on Shopify Online Store 2.0 and on the Basic, Shopify and Advanced plans. The goal is a cleaner, more maintainable and measurable storefront, with technical changes verified before and after implementation instead of unmeasured promises about speed or conversion.
The service is for merchants and companies that want to create a Shopify store or redesign an existing structure with one technical point of contact. It is useful when the theme has become difficult to maintain, apps overlap, the buying journey has friction or a more orderly foundation is needed for new features and markets.
Before recommending a redesign, I separate what can be fixed in the existing theme from what requires a new structure. Scope, dependencies, timing and verification criteria are defined on the real project. I work on Shopify Basic, Shopify and Advanced and do not promise performance values or commercial results before they are measured.
If you already have an active store, we start by analysing the existing structure and the real priorities. Based on catalogue, theme, integrations, performance and operational goals, we define the appropriate level of intervention, from targeted improvements to a broader redesign.
The proposal is built around the actual technical scope rather than guaranteed revenue targets.
I use Shopify Online Store 2.0 themes when they are the most suitable foundation because they maintain compatibility with the editor, native features and the platform update cycle. Customisations can still require maintenance after significant updates, so I document changes and verify the affected areas.
I work with Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript when the theme or native features do not cover the requirement. First I verify the cause of the problem and assess whether a Shopify feature, theme setting, app or custom code is the better solution, avoiding unnecessary changes.
Catalogue, customer and order data live in Shopify and are not replaced simply by changing theme. A redesign can still require sections, settings, app embeds, metafields or customisations from the old theme to be rebuilt. I therefore map them before the change and verify what must be migrated or recreated.
The goal is to leave you as independent as possible for ordinary management through the Shopify editor. More technical customisations or complex integrations can still require specialist support; I always make clear which areas you can manage directly and which you cannot.
Timing depends on scope, materials, integrations and external dependencies. For simpler projects I define an indicative window; for more complex work I prepare a schedule with milestones and dependencies. If a factor changes the timing, I flag it and update the plan.
