IFG GEO Optimizer: Shopify App for SEO and AI Search Analysis

Direct answer: IFG GEO Optimizer is the Shopify app I developed to analyze and improve technical signals useful to SEO and generative search: structured data, extractable content, no-JavaScript access, merchant-approved FAQs and citation monitoring. It cannot force ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews or other systems to find, cite or recommend a store.
What the app actually does
The official Shopify App Store listing describes IFG GEO Optimizer as a tool for making product data easier to read and quote once a system reaches the store. That distinction matters: the app works on signals the merchant can control inside Shopify, not on the selection algorithm of an external engine.
The app is available on the Shopify App Store, which remains the current source for features and prices.
Catalog audit and Schema.org
The audit checks the catalog and identifies missing or incomplete structured data in supported areas. The app provides one-click fixes for the interventions it supports. Before additional markup is applied, duplication with what the theme or other apps already output should still be avoided.
No-JavaScript simulator
The simulator shows what can be extracted from a request without executing JavaScript. It is useful for understanding whether important information exists in the returned HTML, but it does not claim to reproduce the internal behavior of every crawler or AI model.
Extractability score
The app evaluates how easily content can be separated into useful information blocks. The score is an editorial diagnostic, not an official ranking factor and not a guaranteed probability of citation.
Merchant-approved FAQs
Generated FAQs can be reviewed and approved before publication on the storefront. This keeps the content visible to users and reduces the risk of outputting markup that claims information not actually present on the page.
llms.txt, llms-full.txt and agents.md
The app generates these files with public preview links. I treat them as auxiliary machine-readable representations, not shortcuts to rankings or citations. Crawlability, visible content, entity consistency and product data remain the priority.
Citation tracking and competitor comparison
On plans that include the feature, the app runs periodic checks on defined questions to observe whether supported AI systems cite the brand and enables competitor comparison. The result describes answers observed during those checks; it is not complete coverage of every possible response from a model.

My scope
I’m Francesco Guiducci, a freelance Shopify specialist and developer of IFG GEO Optimizer. I work on standard Shopify plans. For GEO I apply the same principle used throughout my work: first entity consistency and technical cleanup, then optimization and measurement.
