IFG eCommerce website accessibility
This page describes the approach Francesco Guiducci uses to progressively improve the accessibility of ifgecommerce.com. It is not an automatic certification of compliance and does not replace a current formal assessment.
References
In my work on the website I consider the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and European standards applicable to digital services. European accessibility law also provides specific exemptions for micro-enterprises providing services; actual applicability depends on the characteristics of the organization and activity.
How I check the website
- heading hierarchy and semantic structure;
- keyboard navigation and focus management;
- image alternative text;
- contrast and readability;
- labels and states of interactive controls;
- manual testing of significant journeys alongside automated checks.
Status and limits
I do not claim full compliance without a current formal audit of the entire website. Historical content, PDF documents or third-party components may require additional checks and remediation.
Reporting an issue
If you encounter a barrier or content that is difficult to use, email info@ifgecommerce.com with the relevant URL, device and, when applicable, assistive technology used. I will review the report to identify a correction or an accessible alternative where possible.
