Starting point

Devoti Sailing is one of my long-standing clients. Initially it had a WordPress brochure site and the online commercial process was much more manual, with orders handled through forms.

The first step was to build the eCommerce side on Shopify. We later migrated the content from the old brochure site as well, bringing the entire web presence onto the same platform.

The challenge: move from manual orders to a real eCommerce store

The main value was not simply rebuilding the website, but introducing a real online sales flow for a company selling racing sailboats and technical products.

This reduced the reliance on manual requests and gave the catalog a structured eCommerce presence that search engines can index.

The transformation unified the corporate website and eCommerce, creating a foundation that has been maintained and evolved together over the years.

The outcome

Devoti Sailing now has a single Shopify platform for content and online sales. The transition made direct purchases on the site possible and gave the products a structured presence for organic search as well.

The relationship did not end at launch: I have continued to support the brand for years as its Technical Partner for maintenance, bug fixing and store evolution.

From initial project to a multi-year partnership
